I was thinking of a similar challenge, only re-create one of the worst games ever, haha. Either making them exactly the same and crappy, or making them actually work and turning them into a "good" game.

I was gonna make a modern version of "Little red hood", wilst intentionally including all it's glitches and glory! Only the graphics would get a revamp.

1: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (Atari 2600)
2: Pac-Man (Atari 2600)
3: Link: The Faces of Evil / Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon (CD-i)
4: Superman (N64)
5: Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing (PC)
6: Action 52 (already re-created by our friend Mr. Beer)
7: Little Red Hood (NES)

Just a thought I had for a while haha.

Not to get off topic, but reviving E.T with the same idea will be hard to do, it and Atari Pac-Man were a big cause of the Video Game Crash.

^^ this is the other project i was working on that has a battle system like the one in the demo in this one you have 4 enemies, it randomly picks through 1-4 of them each one of them attack independently of each other on their own charge rate for now you can use one magic skill and one potion and if you left click on the still npc she joins your team and you can fight 2v1-4

although for now the menus a little glitchy doesn't always register clicks but it'll be re-worked soon!!

thank you hblade!

for that entire year i was gone i was just sittin around with no internet figuring out the best way to build rpg's even what i have so far is just a rough copy still alot of optimization that needs to be made!

also the second demo has optional feral view if you press the 2 key you'll be in feral's rotated iso world and you can go back to flat view by pressing 1 without your players posistion being messed up..
