Perhaps off topic, but I hope to find insight from experienced members. I am making a simple trivia game, but an wondering if I may expand it to include still pictures from a movie (name that movie) or sound bytes from songs or movies. Is this use copyright infringement? I will hunt around on google (etc) as well..

IANAL but I think you can have very very short samples. I seem to remember you can play like 2 bars of a song without paying royalties but if you play more than that you have to pay.
