Making a game like...

Hi,

Just got into 2d game editor and I´ve always wanted to do a game in style with the old Black Isle games, Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale, would this be possible in this editor? The environment shouldnt be any problem since its only still-images? But the spells and magics sounds harder to make..

any help is greatly appreciated,
