Rpgmaker feature

Hi,
I would like to ask if the next version of the program would contain an interface like we have in Rpgmaker2000/2003? If not, will this be possible in the futur?

Rpgmaker's gaming community grew larger each year due to the fact that this software does not require any scrippting for amateurs, and it's interface is one of the easiest to navigate. I think if the game editor provides users with such an interface, it would definitely attracts a larger audience from the rpgmaker's community and from people who want an easy program to make their games. What do you think?

as you may already know, GE is for any type of game, and the "Amateur" feel is for making quiker games. But maybe one day GE will be the best...

Hi Welcome to Game Editor. Its always nice to have a new face.

Both RPGmaker and GE Have their own strengths, and its just wouldnt be right to try to make them the same. You dont improve business by blurring the lines; its actually better to enhance your distinctiveness.

I'll go have a look at that link you gave, its sounds interesting.

I just saw the Enterbrain has released an rpgmaker editor for the mobile phones, maybe you could find it interesting. There's also a downloadable version of the software but it's in japanese though
