I've finally thought of a story for my game, and I think I will finish it by this month. But I can expand and make more features for 2 months. :D

I would also like to try making a game for this tournament, and I already have a unique idea of a game play mechanic I've never seen before.
But it remains to be seen if I get to work on that idea, as I have a lot things to do currently. But I will be a judge anyway.

Wow, I'm really curious on what that game play mechanic will be! Can't wait to see it! :D

I'll probably be entering.
I'm doing some very complex stuff for me, though, so it might not be ready in time.
When it's done it will be very cool though... it'll be ready to use as a game engine for many more games!

Having problems with GE 1.4.1 and Advanced Map Editor makes things a lot more difficult for me. :S
Let's hope I can fix the problems.

I know you can Zoli. :D

And about my progress: I've done the stories from stage 1 until 3. (My game goes until stage 5) But I suck at using text boxes and other GUI, but of course, I can get help from Werty... Other people can help me, right?

P.S: If I weren't so busy in school, I would have almost finished the story, and asked Wertyboy about making text boxes, but as I've mentioned earlier, school is on the way. :(

P.S.S: I'm also sick atm (4 days already. xP). I'm feeling a lot better, from 39.5'C on the first- second day, to 36.5-38.5'C on the third and today. The last time I was sick this long was 6 years ago. xP

I know nothing about Celsius as I use Fahrenheit, but I am assuming that is fever temperature for where you are. Also, yes you can receive help, just let it be noted that if they do a lot of work, they have the right in this tourney to claim it as co-ownership game.

39.5°C, that quite high temperature! I've had 41°C once, and it was weird.. I felt like freezing, yet I was sweating a lllot.
And I also had a hallucination where I felt like flying and actually saw the room I was lying in as if I was looking it from the ceiling XDD

But you're lucky to not have been sick for longer periods of time o.o I've been sick for two weeks more than once in my life..

But it's great to hear you project has made such good progress anyway!
My project has not actually started yet, as I've spent all my time writing a better text input method for Game Editor.
I need this as my game will need text boxes as a big part of the basic game play mechanism, and the built-in text input box system
of GE's just is so bad. -.-

I still forced myself to school during my sick period because there were 3 projects and tests. (6 assignments altogether) to submit that week. It was a torture, but great things have been happening while I was at school, so I thought this was worth it. I'm not the only one sick in class either. 4 others out of 17 students are sick too.

Thanks lcl, and I believe you will succeed and surprise everyone with the new mechanism!! :D

Wow, so many people I know are sick. 10 people (5 in school, 4 in family, and 1 in the internet. xD)
