Jumping

Ive seen the script someone posted here so u only jump once, it works of course. But, if i hold the space bar down the character keeps going up and i can still jump in mid-air...oh that means it dont work. meh atleast i have gravity XD please help out

thanks for the help, but i got the code for only jumping once from the first link and it didnt help i can still pretend i have a jetpack on my back wich this character isnt supposed to XD

add a keydown space script editor and type yvelocity -5;

well, thats kinda what i did and holding down space makes character fly

no problem, if you want to keep your player to be able to jump only once, just use a variable.

yeah someone got to explain those variables in a demo or something...and i did canJump seen it in the abuse2
