I have a version of 1.3.9 source, but if you are trying to get around the logo, you might not get the most support here. You can't do it, as far as any of us know, and I don't think it's too far-fetched to say most of us want to support gameEditor as much as we can. Anyway, even akr can't remove it, and the only two people who have really dealt with the source are makslane and akr. If you still want to get rid of the logo without paying, you'll have to figure it out yourself.

You know the fact that your game may display the GE logo screen does not take anything away from your achievement. Making a good game is hard work with or without using GE. Not supporting the very tool you use to make your game is development suicide. If you use the Unreal Engine the Unreal splash screen is displayed at the start of the game, and you get to use their engine, libraries and editor, including Kismet (a script editor) and a massive support system, that does not make using the Unreal Engine some kind of shortcut to making great games. GE is the same, support it and it will grow, show some pride in your association with GE, and keep it alive.

Despite thedeveloper's other posts, there seems to be no intention of breaking the logo aspect of gameEditor. Anyway thedeveloper already has a 1.3.9 version, so technically logoless. I'm still not quite sure why the interest in the 1.3.9 version, but after discussing it with akr, it has been deemed okay. thedeveloper hopefully will join the ranks of makslane and akr, luck and devotion permit.

If that is the case then that would be fantastic. Though the posts about removing the logo, and the request for old versions of the source have been very suspicious.

Its also about the professional version of GE. The 1.3.9 without logo is ok for evaluation purposes.

Hi everyone, this is thedeveloper here. The reason I want to remove the GE Logo is because I am working on new exporters for GE like an html 5 exporter, a SWF Flash Exporter and Nintendo Wii exporter. This is why I need it without the logo, for testing purposes. The GE Development team will receive these exporters for Free to show my appreciation of GE. However, $499.00 is a lot to pay for the engines but I'll see what I can do.
