I'm using GM.
I just downloaded GE a while ago and find it interesting.
Since I said that I am from GM Forum, well, I'm here because I'm tired of
those GM freaks(NOT all members) in GMC pretending to be professional. They think they are a lot of help but all I found out is those freaks just criticize someone's topic.especially if they do not know how to figure out the topic.
My point is: I thought forums are meant for helping and befriending fellows. There's one time where I post a topic of 'motivation' just to be a little inspiration to make original,self-originated games instead of clones with ripped graphics. One known member not even understanding what motivation is accused that I'm one of those who complains about originality
perhaps pretending to be a hero.And even criticize what I posted.
Well, enough of that. I am definitely not against Mark Overmars' ideas nor Game Maker. And I'm not saying that GMC and GM sucks. But I came to realize that while GM and GMC is good, some of it's "disciples" are totally a contrast. Maybe Jedi Questmaster is right. The dark side thing!
Since I found another good tool (GE), I think maybe it's time to make choices. We can have 2 or more choices can't we. Find the development, make a good forum and friendship as well so that we can squeeze the best out of GE.And make better than ever. Uhm Sounds like a presidential speech!
