Levels

Okay guys I am following the Krensi's tutorial on making a menu screen but I am not sure how to name my levels or how to make a mechanism that I would have level 1, 2 ,3 and so on. is there any tutorials on this? because another problem I am facing right now is that I don't know how to name my game levels too.
