What is GM? And what is it that makes it worthy to brag about? Where can you get it? And most importantly: Does it have a console-based fallback for those of us with rundown systems?

I am running Red Hat 9 on a 212MB hard drive, and I don't have enough room for swap or X Window. So I need a console based version.
