Interesting program

Postby SuperSonic » Sun Apr 17, 2011 3:53 am

I found this while I was searching the internet for anime studio plugins :P
It's called Spriter and it's used for sprite animation (of course) :D

you can find it here:
http://www.brashmonkey.com/

However, it's still in beta testing so it might crash. Proceed at your own risk

Thanks for sharing this. But I think it's a bit hard to understand. Or maybe I'm just lazy to think

Thanks for sharing! I think the beta test is over now. It's now for sale for $5.99 (Pretty cheap  ) until 10/31. I will probably use this! :D

Edit: Downloaded, and it says it's still in beta. Why are they selling it then?!? :?

Hey guys, I found 2 more programs that might be useful.
Pencil and Synfig :D

Links: http://www.pencil-animation.org/ and http://www.synfig.org/cms/

And, I believe they work on Windows, Mac, and Linux :P

Enjoy

Thanks! I have heard of Pencil before and thought it was neat. I like the looks of this other vector-based one! I'll probably look into it. :D

Me too :D

I've been looking for a good vector program that I could use to make GFX but havn't found any ones that work well yet. Hopefully this will :P

It will be useless in GE unless you can export frames. Otherwise, it's a good movie making tool. :P

I know you can export frames in Pencil but I'm not so sure about the other one. I also know that if you want to pay a lot of money (somewhere in the hundreds), you can get Anime Studio Pro and create good vector animations and export them to multiple frames :P

I wonder if there is a way to achieve the same effect with canvases :| hmmm...
