Hi all,

Due to restrictions of my current host provider (sourceforge.net) I can't host a chat on the site.
So, I have removed the chat from the site.

He is the one who created game editor and who owns
this site, so if he says there will be no chat then there just won't be.
It's not him being cruel to you, but it seems that sourceforge has something
that restricts him from having a working chat here.

Please try to understand. And some users have made their own chats.
I suggest using one of them instead of complaining about wanting the old one back.
Makslane has enough work with GE.

Ahh, no. I have only used the chat room on a few occasions and gotten some quick answers, but I've actually gotten more out of the tutorials and forums then the chat anyway. It isn't like nobody is ever on here to help either. The questions I have asked have usually gotten a reply within a few hours, either that or within a day or two, which by my standards is quite excellent.

I did not hear anyone say "No helping anyone" here. GE is very lucky to have people who are not only helpful but are happy, and quick to help. They WANT to help you. No matter how many times the question was asked before.

We live in a time where a majority of people are not interested in anything unless they can have instant access to it.

Like Dst said, learning this stuff takes time. Some things may require more research than others, and sourceforge didn't take away the rights to the google search box on the top corner did they? And if you can't find an answer, then you ask it. I didn't ever see Skydereign in the chat room in my short time here, but he is usually the quickest to answer things. Same goes with Gag, lcl, and Hblade, though, I did see Gag on the chat room.. once.

If the chat room was causing any type of negativity to the website or sourceforge for what ever reason, I don't reccomend having it back but rather an external link to a free one. You can use this one website where it opens the chatbox inside of the current webpage. I'll post a link to that here.
