Hey this is great man!!

I have question. How did you make that loading from folder?

You have the exe file from MENU in one folder and the other
3 minigames are in Minigames folder.

How did you make to load them from folder??? :)

Thank you, Camper :)
Say hello to my little friend.

i have a mousedown event for each icon of the games and then put the loadgame code with the gamepath in relevance to the main menu.exe
for example, key down on jetskiing game icon on the main menu, you go to script editor, and put
Code: Select all
LoadGame("minigames/jetskiing.exe");

btw the loadgame will only work once u export it or else youll have to put jetskiing.ged

it would be great if you guys could give me some ideas for minigames

I also have a new possible sprite for the jetskiier. tell me what you think comparing the old one with the new one

if u were using the load game method then why didnt you use .dat files to cut down on space? it really does help.

im going to end up using the .dat files at the end, but right now, im using .exe so i can launch the games individually if i have to

yeah...also one problem with using .exe is that if u want people to slowly unlock the minigames then they could just run which ever one they want whithout actually having to even go through the menu

It might also be a good idea to save some variables before loading a minigame, so that it can check that you ran it from the menu. Otherwise, anyone who happens to have a GE created game can still run the minigames. If you want the player to have to unlock the minigames before they can play them, this is undesirable.
