the sky and ground is jumping not my character please help!

ok, I'm new to game design and I really want to learn how to do it right. I made my sky and ground out of characters just like the tutorial did. i programed my main character to jump when i hit the space bar, but whenever I hit it the sky and ground jump,but not the main character! And then the scene just floats away. can someone please help me??

Make sure put the jump action in the player, now in the ground or the sky.
