GAME BUSINESS

Talk about making games.

GAME BUSINESS

Postby silviotoledo » Mon Mar 29, 2010 12:48 pm

I am interested in working in games such as Gelman or Elephant Game, among many other games from this forum, to make them more graphically appealing and more commercial.

The idea is to generate products that can be marketed through my small business or some other channel that you may have.

The developer can continue with their own version, if you want to do as a hobby, but we would also have a commercial version.

We have partner with Microsoft and we are able to publish at Apple Store. ( Waiting GED will be available for iphone soon ).

The proposal is 50% for each party.

Who already has games developed or in progress please contact.

I am also interested in creating games from Zero, as you can see on my other post.

Hey, if you want to make a remake of Gelman, ask me. I've had many plans about remaking Gelman.

You did a great job on Gelman!

Let's work on it?

Iphone supports antialising, what would make the graphics look better. I'm not sure about the other devices and actually Makslane is still doing tests with GED for iphone. Antialising would allow us to create better graphics.

I would also duplicate the size of each scenario 'cause I just finished it quick :).
Or maybe the clouds should return and the character must run the scenario twice to go to the next level.

Let's discuss the ideas! Do you use MSN?

It would be interesting to see how well you guys can remake that old game of mine :) I'll be looking forward to that if you do go ahead with the idea. Good luck!

I also do a lot of things for fun! I've done this my entire life.

Anyway, if there's a market that pays for funny things, why not sell?

At the end we need paying for softwares, better computer, internet access, energy use, trainning, our debits and so we will breath and will have free time to back doing funny things only for again.

$ 0.90 is nothing for a game.

Everyday I have to pay this value for Parking and it's not funny :(.

Well, I don't know, I don't have nearly as much time for myself than I used too... Looking at your art and others' interest I'm pretty sure my help isn't exactly required. My real goal is to eventually program a game from scratch and I'm not sure this is in the interest of the people on the forum here as it requires far more effort, planning, and time. GE was the best thing I have done to acquaint myself to game design and scripting :)

I wish you good luck on this project! I'll be coming back from time to time to see how well you are doing. Feel free to keep me informed ;)

Have a good one!
