One key,many function...

Does GE supports one key but many function???like in fighting game...if we hold P(key for punch) in every position of animation..player will change animation into punch animation just according with the position of animation.If the player animation are StopLeft then player will change into PunchLeft and If player are StopRight player will change animation into PunchRight,just with one key are pressed...

Anybody can help me???plizzz...
