Crime Patrol like game

hi, i want to make a game just like crime patrol. it is an old 3DO game.

it's a shooter game with real people video. so what i want to do is film myslef and friends in different background and then set hotspots so that if u click at the right spot u kill the bad guy, if u do not shoot in time, u get killed.

other games like crime patrol: crime patrol II: drug war, mad dog I & II.

so my question is, is game editor able of doing the job ? else if any of you can direct me to a suitable game creation software i'd be most happy.

GE Can't support video, yet.
You'd probobly want to have your friends pose while you or sombody is taking the pictures, and make them Gif images, or seperate frames.
Take pictures of your friends, for all the moves, somehow convert the images into gif (cause the images could be jpeg wich you can't edit with the site>), and use this online gif tool site to edit them. http://www.gifworks.com/image_editor.html
For he backround just take a picture of it. No need to convert.
For the pictures I need to know what kind of cam, you using, (digital camera, web cam,).

for the cam, i think i'll be using a normal digital camera, i'm looking into what game editor would best suit my needs for now.

but if i understand, we would have to work image per image to make this game ? is that what you are suggesting ?

Yes, and it's pretty much the only way, until the video feature comes to GE.
