Crashes

Hello everyone!!!!!!!

I have been watching the discussions in this forum since i got a freeware version of Game Editor from a magazine's promotional CD. Seems like a great program, that's for sure!!! I have proved it's versatility creating some kind of a presentation for a design project, and now I'm trying to create a very personal game with my own graphics and sound (an horizontal-scroll space shooter).

Ok, now about the problems. I have many doubts, so i'll try to ask them in different posts.

I have experienced several game-crashes when I try to execute a test-version of my game, exported from the file menu. I think it's some issue related with the "create actor" action when you call it from another actor, especially with the "relative to creator" option. ¿can someone explain me how it exactly works?

Another source of problems is the timers, as I've found that I have to destroy some of them in order to avoid more crashes. ¿Does anyone have an idea of when do I have to destroy them, or what to do to avoid crashes?

By now, my game has a full level with a dinamic player-ship, 2 diferent weapons, 4 types of enemies that shoot bullets, 3 zones in the level, a multi-scrolling background, and a final boss.

Another question is: Do u need to have a registered copy of the program to publish my game in the web? My freeware version works, so i will consider buying the product after the 30-days trial only if I get my game running.

Thanks in advance!
Game editor's cool!

Are you using the last version? If not, download here:

Is about the actor initial coordinates. If you put 10, 10 and select Relative to creator = Yes, the new actor will be create from 10, 10 to the Event Actor (your creator). If Relative to creator = No, the new actor will be create at 10, 10 position.

Try the last version.
