Sprite alignment

Makslane, in GM, you can set an coordinate offset for sprites, which aligns them to the grid. Is this possible with GE? If so, how would this be acheived? If not, when will it be added? :?:

In GE actor (0, 0) coords is set in sprite center.
Why you are needing this? :?:
