Simultaneous Sound

I've been messing with play sound functions and I noticed it only plays one sound at a time. Is there a way to play more than one sound at a time?

Sounds should be able to be played simultaneously. Music on the other hand cannot. In the game properties you should be able to specify how many sounds can be played at once.
