I've created games using C/C++ and some java.

This development environment looks very exciting. It looks like the scripting is "C" like. How much C like is it?

I am considering using it to develop some PocketPC games.

The scripting language is based on 'C'. It is very similar, excepting some of the functions have been built for you into GE. You do not have to program as deeply using GE. It takes care of many things for you.
