GE Needs you!

Postby OmniArts » Sun Nov 22, 2009 4:17 am

Hey guys,

Well the GE Evolution Engine is officially underway and over the coming weeks you will see more features being completed with my primary target for the moment being the much anticipated iphone Port of the engine. Just to let everyone know I will be helping out Makslane in the field of "Promotions and Recruitment" so my first task will be the much needed Website overhaul.

Here's how you can help out - upload your screen-shots here and the best will be chosen to be featured in various areas of the new site. Note - I don't want full-screen screenshots, so please be wise about the content you upload!

EDIT - Also any title screens will be useful!

thanks!
James - GE Promotions and Recruitment

OmniArts is collecting screenshots of games, not pictures. Pictures will never be perfect quality, so computers come with this feature that allows you to print screens (take screenshots). Here is some info on the print screen button.

What you would do is set your frame rate down to 5 or so, make sure it is windowed (apparently not necessary for windows systems), and play the game. Take several shots, upload the resulting images. You would need to crop out the rest of your desktop.

if you take a screen shot while the game is in full screen you won't have to crop out your desktop. That's the easiest way i've found i would post some screen shots, but my stuff looks...for lack of better words, shitty :(
Working on a probably too ambitious project! Wild-west-adventure-RPG-shooter-thing.

I use BlueShot, with this, i can make a schreen only of the inner surface of the window.
It has some other features for any kind of screenshots, and its free.
I think its the best screenshot-tool, maybe you wil like it to.
