Who owns game-editor?

Postby Guardian69 » Fri Jul 01, 2011 3:40 pm

Hey,

Just wondering who I would need to talk to about licensing?

Cheers,

All the info on licensing can be found here: http://game-editor.com/Buy if you've got specific questions that you dont mind posting on the forums some of us might be able to provide some info based on our experience. Otherwise it's Makslane that want to PM.

Cheers kodo,

I've already read that page, but thanks for telling me.

I'm in the middle of developing a game with GE that is primarily aimed at mobiles. I'm starting my own company and would like to use GE as it looks as if I could target the three major mobile platforms at the same time (If android is released and I really hope it will be). Obviously it can't be opensource and therefore I would need to get commercial licensing. Therefore, I wanted to talk to the pm about some arrangements. :)

You can release your games commercially on the Express license, though that license does require that the 'made with Game-Editor' screen is displayed. For me that was no problem and not one person has commented on the game in a negative light because of it :)

Well I would actually prefer to have the GE logo. As I think supporting the tools you use is important.
