Makslane:

Thanks so much for this release!

It's so great that we can now sell to those extra device markets.

I always look forward to seeing new releases...

It's brilliant. Keep up the excellent work!

Tried the new patch. Tried the export to GPS.

Makslane, I have something of grave importance to tell you. You may not like it. It's how I really feel so I'm going to get it off my chest. It's time somebody said this to you, mano y mano ... no more pulling punches, it's time you were taken down a notch with the ugly truth about this steenkin' product of yours, this little toolkit, this little slice of Makslanite ...

...

MAKSLANE, YOU'RE A FREAKIN' GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

GameMaker! Give me a break! One step export to five of the hottest platforms out there for shareware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There isn't another TOOL ON EARTH AS GOOD AS THIS ONE!!!!! If anybody knows of anything as good as this IDE on EARTH, please let me know - cuz I don't think it exists!

:lol: True, True..

If it wans't for Makslane, i wouldn't developing my game what i really want to export to the smartphone. I also was interested in the GP2X handheld, and voilá, there was compatability with the handheld.

Game-Editor Rocks!!

To Makslane, is there an possibility i could get your logo in Highres?
I would like to show in the intro of my game an "Powered by Game-editor" screen.

Are there any plans to introduce an overlocking menu or something to that effect for the game-editor gp2x version? As the GP2X is overclockable it might help solve a lot of slow playing games...

If you want to overclock a bit give
http://www.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,7,1169
a try. I am getting close to 50 FPS with it on a test file.

You adjust your clock speed inside the zloader.cfg flie. Put Zloader and the Zloader dir in your rooot of your SD. Then just set your run speed to what you want, run Zloader and select GAMES then your GE file.

I am able to go up to 260 Mhz with this program :D , I have never been able to clock above 250 Mhz B4.

Give it a shot.

yo
just tested my little demo game with config-texts for the soft called cpu_speed

results :
in 200 mhz -> 25 fps
in 266 mhz -> 25-33 fps
in 280 mhz -> 25-50 fps ( i blocked fps count to 50 fps !)

so very funny because there are always 25 fps for these 3 cpu clock !

Hey MaDsk8tard where did you get your speed hack. I want to take a look at it. With ZLauncher I have been getting good speeds. It does bounce around I will admit.

I have on about 108 actors on the screen going in different directions all at different speeds and still averg. speed of about 27 fps at 260 Mhz. I have video taped it and looked at single frames to see the counts better, and I get about 2 frames at 35 then the next 2 at 26 then around 2 frames at 19 then it starts over again. I am running 3 timers, 6 random number creaters for speed and direction, 3 different counters for the actors, and a FPS actor.

If I get rid of the actor counters it goes up about 30 with less of a spread.
