Every time i download Game Editor on the Mac

I get a error message saying:

gameEditorMacosx is damaged and cannot be opened. Move this to the trashcan.

The Game Editor i am trying to get to work is 1.5 beta. Any tips? I tried to download it many many times, but i keep getting the same error message

It should just work. What version of mac osx are you using?

My system specifications are:

Macbok pro
2.4 Ghz i5
8GB 1066 DDR3
120GB SSD
Intel HD 3000
Mac OSX 10.8.2 Mountain Lion

Problem is fixed!

Just do the following:

1) Go to System Preferences
2) Security & Privacy
3) Make sure you can run programs from any source instead of only the Mac App Store.
