Bitmap Fonts

I've been all over the internet looking for information on exactly how to create bitmap fonts. I've downloaded a number of font creation programs, but none of them really do create the bitmap font.

I've also looked for tutorials without success, and I've tried resizing some of the fonts that Trajecto & Makslane to gave us , but for the most part, I'm still not getting good results. Does anyone have any suggestions for programs that they use to create these fonts and/or links that give tutorials on how to create these fonts? TIA
