I think it would be a great option to be able to draw the boundaries of any sort of region, instead of having just a box to try to wrap around things. :D

I was just thinking this as well. My game wouldve gone quicker if i could custom draw the region.

What about just using a regular actor and placing it behind the background? Draw the actor as a single frame in your favorite art program once you know the "shape" you need.
