What platforms does the creator itself run on?

I am interested in buying this and probably would have, but i stopped because it says "Professional version not available on linux"
What does this mean, does it mean the creator ide can only be run on windows? If not what is the difference between pro and basic? If it is then can it run under wine?

Pro can export your games into differetn platforms, like Pocket PC, Windows mobile-based cell-or-smartphones etc. which the basic (or demo) version can't.
And, sorry to tell ya, the PRO version isn't available for Linux yet.

I've not got it to run under wine, nor have I heard of anyone that has.

Its possible that it will run under cegeda though i have not tried.
