Pause menu!

Pause menu!

Postby CdaMarinersFan » Sat Sep 24, 2005 1:25 am

Hmmm... I've created a pause menu for my game IST, and I kinda need help with...
    1. On startup I've opened it up on a 3 second timer, and I have the keys for the players disabled. I want to click a button I've made to start the game, and it would start my infamous count down timer, and enable the players' keys. I haven't tried the timer, but the enable won't work yet.
    2. I want to show the scores and the time left on the clock, like a sports video game, on the side of the menu.
    3. I would want to bring this pause menu back up when I pause the game (space)

I could figure out how to destroy these actors when I press the spacebar, but if anyone can help me with the rest, that would be great. Thanks!

I would be using the PauseGameOn and PauseGameOff functions, but I haven't made the menu come up yet, for I am still on the start of the game, where we need to destroy the menu and enable the keys.

Do you think that maybe since I have actor Disable on create actor for an event that I should delete it? It could work, but it might not...
