I have not made games for anything but Windows,
I have only made 7 full games though. :(
(lots and lots of Demos because hardly any of the games could be made into a full game.)
EDIT: most of em' are listed in links in the link in my signature,
but lots of the games listed there are just Demos and half versions. :(

Right now (10/14/2009) I'm working on some C++ projects, but I might be able to help if you have some Game Editor questions. :)

you make the game however you want,
then you can save it, then export it as type you would like. :D

If you are just going to make a game for the GP2X, all you need to do is make sure you set up the screen size to be appropriate for the device. However, if you plan on making a cross-platform game, you might need to consider having a different set of graphical resources for each device, since the screen resolutions are drastically different, and there are few people any more who want to play a 240x320 (or whatever the resolution on a GP2X game is) on a PC. Also, because the different devices use different control mechanisms (stylus, buttons, keyboard, etc), you really should take that into account as well.

Yeah, I'm not sure if GE makes use of both the GP2X's processors or not. Some of the games developed for the GP2X (like PAYBACK)have awesome graphics and use 3D aspects, and run very smoothly... but the few things I've made in GE are very slow and laggy. I've decided to stick to windows games.

most of the games i made i have made for GP2X. It is just as easy as creating a game for windows. Just change the screensize and when the game is done and you want to test it on your gp2x you simple press File/Export/Gp2x/ok and the game is ready to play on the Gp2x. easy.. :D

The gp2x is fabulous for games. The emulator scene is amazing. Not too many great commercial games yet, though.

I'm beginning development on a set of retro arcade games for the gp2x TODAY! I can't wait to get started.

Edit:
I've had a few hours to play with Game Editor. Aside from my particular problems with GE (I ws pulling my hair out!) I made some excellent progress!
Well, I got a few asteroids moving around and have one of the sound effects sound effect and animations working. It's moving pretty quick too. My target framerate is 20fps (that was the orginal and perfectly adaquate for the game) and I'm more than that so far.

Anybody with a gp2x wanna take a look at it?

2.8 megs I guess. You can't do anything with it yet, but watch it, and you have to turn the gp2x off to get out of it.
