BUG: Game keep minimizing in fullscreen

[Game A Gogo]

I press game mode, the game goes to full screen but after a couple of frames of drawing it will just minimize. So to stop this on other games (not made with GE), I right click on the task icon and select "Restore". But when I right click it does nothing. And every-time I try to go to the game it will go back to minimizing. I've taken the consideration that other programs might be doing this, but I checked, even if I close every possible process. It even did this before I formatted this computer.
Sometimes I can prevent this by clicking somewhere when the game appears, but this does not always solve the situation

I have Windows XP Sp2, in case that's of help.

GE 1.4.0 + Windows XP = had some issue with the splash screen before
I wonder with the fullscreen as well now

I have strong believe it's my computer causing this problem, if there's a program that bugged and stayed open, this bug constantly happens
