Talk about making games.

dy studios seeks YOUR assistance

dy studios seeks your assistance for the Avalancher.one project. It has grown way too big for one person to handle. As currently I'm trying to write the script, the game source, create texture tiles, sprites, music and lot more tasks that take me way to much time to do alone.

I've licenced lot of seamless texture tiles, and the sprites will actually be acted, for example I will do the main character in front of a digital cam coder dressed up in military outfit. Sure you'll think that's crazy but it's all possible and I'm willing to go all the way needed to finish the project.

Any help is appreciated and there is money involved or percentage of the income for the right people depending on your terms.

-Someone who is "good" with Game Editor's scripting capabilities or has any experience transferable to GE.

-Someone capable of creating industrial music like from the Red Alert Series or military themed music. Either in the form of .xm or just HQ .mp3 or OGG Vorbis.

-Possible voice acting although that will be decided later in the process.

-If someone has programmed a decent platform engine for Game Editor then I'm ready to purchase the whole thing, just compile your programs for demo purpose and upload them to allow me to test them, then add your price to them to sell the full Game Editor source.

The goal of Avalancher is to make a revolutionary platform game for the Windows Mobile platform, I'm gonna spend a lot more money than I'm supposed to but I want to make something decent so I don't care so much for my financial loss. One thing is for sure, Avalancher.one is not the last project to be released by dy studios

Payment methods are optional although Paypal is the easiest way to deal with it.

If I were not so busy... :(

Sounds very exciting! 8)

I think managing collaborations is a vital aspect of game making.

The best of British luck to you.

Just updated because of the lack of response, I hope someone will join the project

I can't belive there aren't even any amateur programmers or talents out there ready to do something cool.

A mixture of platform and advanture game, to begin with I just need a complete platform engine the advanture part can be added later, think Commander Keen... The main character needs to to fire up, down and sideways, if you hold the right/left button the character should walk or fire sideways, it should not continue looking up if you make it walk.

willg101 it would be a good start, thanks for your offer but if you mean basic by just as the GE tutorial is then I'm afraid that won't work. The actor is going to be running around with a gun.

Voice - Yep I can do that!

DarkYeti,

I can help at least with the voice acting. I have done quite a few pieces over the years for a variety of multimedia and video work. I am not a professional voice over artist but I can do a variety of voices and accents, tones, styles and my voice is quite flexible.

Let me know when you are ready.

IPete thanks for your reply, I intend to finish the first game this summer or depending on process next autumn the acting script is not ready and I'm not even sure I'm gonna have much voice acting since it would take huge space on PDAs. At minimum there would be few scenes voice and the rest would be text only, or perhaps I would have 2 seperate downloads of the game, one with full acting and other for PDas with low storage space.

Just for fun, do you have any examples of your voice acting online?

Unfortunately, there's nothing currently on-line.

I could probably arrange for something similar to my latest exploits to be made available once my historic ship simulator is in place.

I'll keep you posted.

willg101 sorry if I sounded rude, I did not mean it that way, it would be good to get any help available and you would be a good start. How would you like to be credited?
