Ability to change GE stage/playfield configuration colors...

Maybe there is already a way to do this and I just don't know how...

It would be REALLY nice to be able to change the background and grid default color of the GE stage/playfield to user preferance colors. For example, be able to change the stage color from black to white and the grid color from red to black.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
