I think a really cool thing would be some kind of web chat for people who are currently actuve on the forum. Not sure if it is feasible though.

Yeah, it would be cool. Or an IRC channel. That would be perhaps easier to do.

I think there is already one big private chat web with AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Gtalk, Skype etc.
