Making your game run minimized

OK i have a game and i want it to run minimized, i have a timer on it. but when i minimize it the timer doesnt run? why not? how do i fix this? also, even if the window isnt minimized it just not selected the timer still wont count back. i have tried exporting it. thanks



i figured it out. just go to game properties and it says "suspend game if lost focus, all you do is just select no"
