Tiling troubles

Postby MrB » Thu Jun 24, 2010 10:11 pm

So I have started experimenting with tiles and have this weirdness.
When I try to draw tiles in single mode they do not sit next to each other nicely, they kind of smear across the screen one on top of the other (kind of like when windows slows down getting ready to crash). Is this how they should work or is something going horribly wrong?
I am using ubuntu 9.04 on a netbook, have yet to try on my windows machine, because windows 7 has some intermittent fault with capitals.

use the lshift to toggle 'snap to actor' mode, which should make them draw correctly (although, if you have another actor in the way, such as a region or view, it can get confused about which actor to snap to, so try to draw in empty space).
It's easier to be clever than it is to be kind.
