Problems with my game in fedora 8

I tried to start my game in Fedora 8, and when i click on the file, nothing happens.

Is there any solution for that problem?

Enter in the shell e type:

./yourgamename

When i try to start it from the shell it displays this error:

./PacksAdventureLinux: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Try this: Enter the command as root and type:
yum install libstdc++.so.5

[regine]

Then it displays this error:

yum install libstdc++.so.5
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirror ... &arch=i386 error was
[Errno 4] IOError: <urlopen error (-3, 'Tempor\xc3\xa4rer Fehler bei der Namensaufl\xc3\xb6sung')>
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: development. Please verify its path and try again

I think its because i havent got Internet on Fedora.
