@SuperSonic: Hmm, when you mean from .dat files, do you mean just having the cutscenes in separate files to the levels or what do ya mean exactly? ^^;
@HBlade: xD Nope, the scaling was done in a very time consuming, yet very manipulatable way ^^; Basically, I had separate sprites for each level of zoom (most of the time -including in levels- the sprites are all twice their regular size) Then in cutscenes where there would be scaling, I have separate actors for each level of zoom, like so:
-shadow
-shadowbig
-shadowbigger
-floor
-floorbig
-floorbigger
etc, etc. Time consuming, but you have much more control with the scenario.
