Well now, didnt think I'd be back making a new game so soon after Empire Of Nightmares, but...meh the concept for this has been in my head for so long now and I just had to start coming up with concept art, and things already. xD

So, yes - my next game will be known as Shadow: Sons of Destiny (another Sonic game, are you honestly surprised though? ;) )

I've spent the entire week writting up notes and ideas, drawing various concept arts and whatnot, and things are starting to take shape already, I'm glad to say. I've already finished what should be similar to the final Main Menu for the game, so I'll post some screenshots it for ya to check out!

Essentially, here's the rough version of the plot:

"For many decades, the Planet Mobius has been protected by a hedgehog who has come to be known by all as the "Blue Blur".
Sonic the Hedgehog, along with his many allies have dedicated their lives to fighting for the peace of their beloved home world, opposing all forms of Tyranny and evil from consuming Mobius for good.
Things seemed to be all going well...however, this was untill the inevitable happened.
The fighting force of the blue hedgehog, including himself, would eventually age with time, growing old and naturally, their lives began to cease - one by one, untill no one was left to keep peace on Mobius.

All but one, that is...

The mysterious, ebony hedgehog known as Shadow, the Ultimate Life Form, never succumbed to the nature of aging, and to this day he continues to single-handedly wage war against all evil that comes the
way of Mobius, keeping his promise of protecting the planet from darkness...

But not even he could even begin to anticipate what the true fate of Mobius would become..."


Anyway, regarding characters, I've the cast listed out, and most of the graphics finished too! :D
This is the list:
Protagonist: Shadow the Hedgehog
Antagonist: Lazerus Viper
Love Interest/Ally: Tiara Boobowski
Evil Scientist: Professor Zoru
Tiara's Rival: Emerald Kos

Hmm...let's just say that to reveal more of them would probably spoil some of the "deeper" plot. ;)

Now cutscenes! That's an area that done fairly well with Empire of Nightmares, so the question is: how do I improve on this?

Simple: If you've ever played Sonic and the Black Knight, and seen it's cutscenes - that's the approach I'm planning to take! Drawing out various stills, animating them slightly and fitting the music and effects to the images. B-)
Also, I'm planning to seek out voice actors too, for full dialouge in movies!

Regarding the actual game, I'll be working firstly on my Sonigy Engine, to make it as close to SEGA's work as I can with GE before I begin any level development. I'm rewritting a new Battle System too, with plans for even more immersive, tactical combat than EON.

I've various other things I wan't to throw in, but for now I'll call it a day - you've had enough to read. xD

Oh I would like to program shadows controls, and possibly the bosses =) I'd like to integrate the usage of a controller as well as the keyboard (And of course with no moonwalking ^^ I'll comment the code too, so you can read it and change something if needed).

You tell me what ever it is you want shadow to do and I'll... try my best to make it happen xD
