Yes it eventually got back to normal. I wanted to undo a lot of times though.
ALSO: I have a filled region that is locked in place so i dont move it, and when im looking around the game, im dragging the screen via the filled region, and that counted as an extra action to undo, which made it take even longer. Can you make dragging a locked actor not count as an action?
