Newbie Asks: Why Script Editor code not saving

Guys i haven't been here in ages cause i was in the hospital

But anyways, so i forgot how to do this..

Or if i'm doing it right.

I have an actor with an image series, anyways i want to apply a Script code.
So i choose Events/Draw Actor and in the Script Editor i add something

like
if( x == 1)
then do something.

I iused to do that fine, but now after i do it and ADD and apply immdiately..
Then if i go back to the Script editor, the code that i typed is not there anymore.

Why is this happening? Do i have to save the code somehow?

hmm, when u go to look at the script, make sure you press the edit button not add or click the script tab at the top. If that doesn't work, try re-downloading gE
