1) "The deadline is the 11:59:59 of January 21st"
That is 11:59:59 PM, right?

Just noticed question 1- yes the deadline is 11:59:59 PM, but I should add in central standard time, which it is 6:57 pm here right now so you can get an idea how much time you have.

Man, I feel bad for being late on this tournament. I got pretty excited about the tournament last month, and because of school I got here late. :(
I'll just be a spectator this time, except if it's not too late being a judge. :)
Currently: Semi-Active.
Working on: Maybe putting my test games in gamejolt, polishing them a bit, but I still don't know when.

I've made some progress on my game, the image attached is a screenshot of the ged. I won't show any screenshots of the game itself before it's ready.
I'm sad to say this, but it seems like I have no chance of getting the whole game finished before the deadline, since I've been very busy lately.
But I will participate with only 1 level, and complete the game after the competition. :)

That is totally fine. As a matter of fact, I don't think there is much themes that can get a full game completed in the deadline I set besides Pong, pac-man and a few other themes, and typically only a demo can get released. Trust me, I would rather play an awesome demo/level, then a meh, rushed game. :D

Hey, you can be a judge if you feel like it. I am glad that you want to participate in this way as I didn't want to be the only judge. :)

Pharoh's Secret Chamber is on the forum.
You can find it in the demo section: http://game-editor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13146

Now I can't wait to see the other entries ...

Don't worry about talent. As a matter of fact, I can only see this improve your skill as it forces you to think more about how to get things done faster and more efficiently with the placed deadline. :)
The next thing I am doing is a 2-parter, and you may enjoy it.

Congrats, dude! :D
I've already played it once, and it was quite nice.
I'll give a more thorough review of it on the judge week, as I'm one of the judges
