Don't leave, you have a lot ideas for games and I'm sure you can develop some great games if you just
pay some more attention to your work and stick to a project for a little longer!
I can help you to make your games work in a way you want them to. :)

Well........... Ok could you give me a GED example of a health bar. I tried following hblade's videos but the quality isn't at it's best

That's not what I meant. I didn't mean that I'd just give you everything you wanted. That would be only bad for you because you won't learn. :)
What I meant was that when you try to do something and you run into problems with it, I can help you understand what went wrong and how to fix it.

Well, the way you should make it depends on what kind of a health bar you want to have.
One can make the health be shown with animations or by using a canvas actor to draw a health bar.
I recommend the one done with animations, since it's easier.

I first really sucked at making anything on GE but over time I got comfortable with it. :)

Ask questions if you get stuck with anything in particular along the way.
