Found a good site for noobs trying to learn about pointers. This guy 'runchman' seems decent and straightforward in how he explains things. No wise guy, smart arse stuff just straight to the point (no pun intended).

There's also you-tube vids on 'Linked Lists' which are really usually for storing gaming data and stuff once you've grasped how pointers work.

For absolute beginner's there's good stuff on his teaching site that covers arrays, looping (for, while...do), switch statments, etc...
