not GE related: How can i convert a file to .mid

hey guys, this isn't related to game editor but maybe sombody here can help me, my phone will only run .midi or .mid files
is there a way i can convert a .mp3, .wav, .wma, or somthing like that into a .mid or .midi ? i have tried alot of programs and non have done the job =\

You cannot convert wav formats to midi. If you want a song in midi, you either need to find a download for a midi version, or write it yourself.

Midi is a patch bank with a score that plays the patches; there is no way to make midis out of wav formats at all, though you can make wave/ogg etc. out of a midi.
