Just in case you do want a different software for creating animations, there is a great free 3d animation software that is very simple called anim8or. It takes a little while to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, you can do all sorts of stuff. The snowman on my avatar I made on it. And believe me, Im no artist, but I can still make an ok space invaders animation. Heres my latest game-in-progress -- I used anim8or for the actors. Maybe youd like to try it? :D
(by the way, great game)

One question, how did you manage to have the blocks create themselves in random places without going everywhere?

Nice sleek design, adding an bit of complexity to a simple idea. I like it! :D I would recommend fixing the multiple-jump issue in future versions.

Well, thanks u guys for the good feedbacks and tips :D

There's another actor that creates the blocks. It has an animation with, let's say, 2 frames.
It's located about 100 pixels left of the view. It's:
Animation finish -> create actor -> block -> relative to creator
For the block goes:
Create actor -> y = rand(//top limit) - (//bottom limit);
xvelocity = -10;
It's actually not the guy who walks, but the blocks, the ground and the stuff.
:idea:

about the graphics:
I could actually make those high-quality-ones, but my PC is too slow! :lol:
It's ridiculous, I know!

After I made the post about anim8or, I noticed the reflection things on the mountains and stuff, then I realized that you probably used some more complex software. But still, I reccomend anim8or to anyone.

To be exact: I used Microsoft Office Publisher
If u know, how to use it, u can even make cool 3d things with it!The new 2007 version is just cool.
I recommend it. :wink:
There'll be a demo out soon with some of the stuff. (called: cheeseplanetbasedefender :roll: :lol: )
:D
I'm not quite used to anim8or yet.
