My First Game

Hi Everyone, im completely new to game development. i've been working on a mario clone but there are things i just cant seem to get right in the scripting... ive uploaded what ive been able to do so if anyone can suggest how to smooth out the rough edges i'd be really appreciative,,,,, thank you

Upload your game in .zip file format.

I downloaded winzip but when i try to zip the file it automatically saves as an exe file. how do i save as a zip without the exe?

For windows - Right Click the desktop, click New-Compressed(zip) folder, then name the folder, and drag the game's folder to the zip file.

For linux - I forgot :/

i dont understand it, it tells me to split the files, so i did then uploaded them and it comes up as 4 different files????? i'm confused.com

Tbh i dont know how to do all these things its all trial and error, so far mostly error lmao,, the file was saved as winzip file ive managed to find something to change it to be opened by zip compressed instead and it gave me the same icon as the zip files ive downloaded from here so hopefully i got it right this time, if it dosent work could you please give me directions to complete my up-load, thank you

Mak, why did you limit the filesize to 2mb anyway?
Its frustating you know...

Is not me. It is my host, the sourceforge.net thats can handle thousands of connections, but limits the uploaded files to 2MB.
In the old host (godaddy.com) I was able to control this limit, but the host only can handle 60 connection at same time (I can´t pay the plan thats have more connection)
