I'm still trying to find the best scrolling method. Here are some demos I've made exploring different types, let me know what you guys think.

On the speedr demo, press + or - to scroll through the different scenarios.

Even for all the work i put into them, its still hard to make the 3d effect convincing.
It's easier to be clever than it is to be kind.

I thought the 3d effect was quite convinving actually! The graphics (ontop of the effect) were simply amazing. I really don't know what to say..... :)
Working on a probably too ambitious project! Wild-west-adventure-RPG-shooter-thing.

I agree. The 3d effects are great. I am simply amazed at how well the speeder and clouds runs so fast on my att tilt. I would have thought it would be laggy.
