For the hitting an object option, I thought that it should be done by making the character into several actors, e.g. the legs, the body, the arms, the head and the weapon or whatever, all different actors, even though this would require tedious animation designing but the effects afterwards would make the game better, yet making a need of a script that when the actor collides all the actors stop.

all the other things are probably done with variables...

A better way is just to use a small array to hold two sets of coordinates for each body part. These are called "bounding boxes". You layout two corners of a box surrounding a bodypart.

Using actors will work, but actors contain a lot of redundant code, and of course, parenting them to the main body is going to slow down your game, even if a little.

Reply if you need more help with this.

Role Playing Game, RPG for short. Diablo would be a good example.

Arvale would be another example.

You are the hero (or antihero) in a world that you must explore to find the bad guys and kill them or side with them, hack, slash, talk, find items, solve the world's problems and become a greater hero or play evil and feel remorse or no remorse. You get experience points and can level up and get gold and nice armor.

This would be great. I hope this happens. Of course I'm too much of a newbie to be of any help but if at any point I can, I'd be happy, even if it just meant beta testing something or proofreading English. :D
