After my long streak of thinking of ideas for games, and then giving up on them soon after, this game will hopefully be my first professional fully completed game. The idea was from a book named Ender's Game, in which there is a space battle simulator in the asteroid Eros, and this is mostly my idea on what that simulator would be.
Basically how the layout is going to work is you don't control the ships directly, you command them from a terminal.
Planned Features:
- Campaign mode: fight your way through planet after planet of the enemy, aiming for the home planet.
- Quickplay mode: fight randomly generated waves of enemy.
- Advanced enemy AI: The enemys will learn some of your basic strategy, and avoid it. Almost nothing works twice!
- Autopilot: Your ships will not go on suicide runs, no matter how much you command them to, and a autopilot switch for each ship, in which that ship will then control itself.
- RTS style selecting: Select you ship, or multiple ships at once, and move them anywhere on the battlefield.
- Graphics: All pixel art, drawn one pixel at a time. (except for the rotation animations, those will be due to rotsprite or something else).
- 8-bit music.
Progress:

I'll update again when I have some progress on the menus and title screen done.
